CLIENT SPECIFIC BRIEF

The first step in securing your business is to determine what your specific need is. We offer a free site assessment to determine all the potential threats and to calculate what the optimum course of action to implement would be. Once a final plan is agreed on, the recruitment process begins.

Our recruitment process is guided by the site specific requirements as well as our expectations of the ability of the individual to successfully conduct his role on site.

RECRUITMENT

SELECTION PROCESS

Our security officers are vetted in the following manner:

Once the officer has been interviewed an exam is written and a passing mark of 75% has to be obtained. The officers that have passed their exam has their fingerprints taken digitally and this is run through the SAPS database. The officer’s accreditation with PSIRA is checked and verified. Once the clearance certificate has been received from SAPS for the criminal check the employment process goes ahead.

Protection Officers are briefed and trained offsite prior to deployment and then coached onsite until all members are familiar and comfortable in the roles. They are trained on site specific operational requirements by our training officer and are paid  the prescribed PSIRA rates. Training is done on an ongoing basis to ensure that our staff fully understand what is required from them on a daily basis.
